Document 01
Privacy Policy
01
Information we collect
We collect the details you give us when you sign up — your name, work email and company — plus usage data about how you interact with the Kiln dashboard. Flag evaluation payloads are processed in memory at the edge and are never stored with user identifiers unless you enable analytics.
02
How we use information
We use your information to provide and secure the service, to send product and billing communications, and to improve Kiln. We never sell personal data and never use your evaluation data to train models.
03
Sharing and sub-processors
We share data only with vetted sub-processors that help us run Kiln, such as cloud hosting, email delivery and payment providers. A current list is available on request and we notify customers 30 days before adding a new one.
04
Retention
Account data is kept for as long as your workspace is active and deleted within 30 days of closure. Audit logs follow the retention period of your plan.
05
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. Most of this can be done directly in workspace settings; for everything else, contact privacy@kiln.dev.

Terms of Service
01
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your workspace and for keeping credentials secure. You must be authorised to accept these terms on behalf of your organisation.
02
Acceptable use
Don’t use Kiln to break the law, to attack or overload our infrastructure, or to resell the service without a written agreement. We may suspend workspaces that put other customers at risk.
03
Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Seats added mid-term are prorated. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in your order form.
04
Service levels
We aim for 99.95% availability on Team and commit to 99.99% on Enterprise, with service credits as described in our SLA. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 72 hours ahead.
05
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, each party’s total liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
06
Termination
You can cancel at any time from billing settings. We may terminate for material breach after 30 days’ notice if it is not cured. On termination you can export your data for 30 days.
